What is Amoxicillin used for?

Used to treat bacterial infections including ear infections, throat infections, pneumonia, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. Does NOT work against viral infections like common cold or flu.

How does it work?

Amoxicillin kills bacteria by interfering with their ability to build their cell wall, causing the bacterial cells to burst.
